Judge Ain't Blockin' No Deportations: Somali Famz Still At Risk
Feds keep pushin' these deportations, and the courts ain't steppin' in – what's good for the community?
Aight, so check it: A judge just let the government keep doin' what they doin' when it comes to sendin' folks back to Somalia. Said they ain't gonna step in, even tho' they know the feds been speedin' up these deportations. Man, this ain't right.
We talkin' 'bout people's lives here, fam. These ain't just numbers, these are real people with families, with stories, with lives built here. Sending 'em back to a place like Somalia, where it's already rough, that's cold, man. That's some straight-up injustice.
They be sayin' it's 'bout security and keepin' us safe, but we know the real deal. It's 'bout fear-mongering and targetin' communities. They always pointin' fingers at us, tryin' to make us the scapegoats for everything wrong in this country. But we ain't fallin' for it.
Where the love at for the people tryin' to make a better life? Somalia ain't easy, man. Folks come here lookin' for opportunity, for safety, for a chance to build somethin'. And they gettin' snatched up and shipped back like they ain't nothin'.
This ain't just a Somali thing, either. This affectin' all of us, the whole community. They come for one group today, they comin' for another tomorrow. We gotta stand together, show 'em we ain't gonna take this no more.
These politicians, they be lyin' to our faces, sayin' they care 'bout us, but their actions speak louder than words. They passin' laws and makin' policies that tear families apart and leave us hurtin'. We gotta hold 'em accountable.
We gotta support our fam, man. We gotta show these Somali brothers and sisters that they ain't alone in this fight. We gotta organize, we gotta mobilize, and we gotta let our voices be heard. No justice, no peace!
They want us divided, they want us scared, they want us silent. But we ain't gonna give 'em what they want. We gonna stay strong, stay united, and keep fightin' for what's right. This ain't the end, this is just the beginning.
It's like they don't even see us as human beings. Just numbers on a page, problems to be solved. But we more than that. We creators, we innovators, we survivors. We gotta remind them who we are.
For real tho, this be hurtin' folks out here. Folks got families back home they supportin'. Folks got rent to pay. But they just snatchin' them. That's foul. They got all the power. That's why it's messed up.
And tellin' you right now, it don't stop with Somali folks. They comin' for everybody eventually. If they can do it to one group, they'll do it to another. We gotta protect each other. Period.
We gotta let these politicians know that we see what they doin'. We know they ain't really tryin' to help. We see through the BS. It's time for us to take control of our own destiny and build a better future for ourselves and our children.
