Jihadis Burnin' Rides in Mali, Blockade Got Da Capital Choked
Dem man dem setting fire to everything, tryna squeeze Mali till it breaks – ain't nothin' Gucci 'bout dis.

Aight, listen up. Da streets in Mali stay hot, and not in a good way. See, dese jihadis, Jama'at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM), basically Al-Qaeda's cousins, straight up burnin' cars and trucks on da roads headin' to Bamako. Like, dozens of whips gone up in flames. Fuel tankers, buses, everything. Dey tryna shut da city down, and it's messin' wit' everybody's bread.
Word is, dey makin' folks get outta dey rides 'fore dey light 'em up, so at least nobody gettin' smoked. But still, dis ain't right. Mali, it's landlocked, meaning dey gotta get dey gas and supplies from other countries. Senegal, Ivory Coast, dat's where da lifeline at. So, when JNIM cuttin' off da roads, people start feelin' da pinch real quick.
Yo, dese militants been snatchin' drivers and torchin' trucks for a minute now, over a hundred since last year. Some convoys makin' it through wit' military escorts, but dat ain't a long-term solution, fam. It's like puttin' a Band-Aid on a gunshot wound. Da real problem still festerin'.
Gen. Assimi Goïta, dat's da head honcho of da junta, da military government. He promised to bring peace and kick out da bad guys when he took over, but things ain't lookin' too peaceful right now. He even put Brig Gen Famouké Camara in charge of breakin' dis blockade, but it ain't workin'. Dem fuel prices stay high, and people stay stressed.
Experts say JNIM tryna starve out da economy and make da government look weak. And honestly, dey doin' a pretty good job of it. See, when folks can't get gas for dey generators, can't drive to work, can't afford food 'cause everything cost more, dey get angry. And angry people do angry things.
Last month, Tuareg separatists and JNIM was straight up coordinated, hittin' towns all over Mali. Even da Defense Minister caught a stray when his crib got bombed. It's like every day a new level of crazy unlocked. Dis ain't no game, dis real life, and it's breakin' people down.
Da BBC verified some videos, makin' sure it wasn't no fake news. NASA satellites even picked up da heat signatures from all dem burnin' cars. Da whole world watchin', but who really gonna step up and help? We gotta find a way to build up our own community, get some economic power so we ain't relyin' on nobody else. Otherwise, we just gonna keep gettin' played. Keep it 100. No cap.
