Jets Crashin' at Air Show? Sounds Like Some Taxpayer Fleecin' to Me
Two jets go down, everybody parachutes out safe, but who's really payin' for this high-flyin' foolishness?

Aight, so check it. This weekend, two of them fancy Navy jets, them EA-18G Growlers, decided to play bumper cars in the sky out in Idaho at the Gunfighter Skies air show. Four folks had to jump out that thang, parachutes and all. Word is they cool now, stable and whatnot, but still, two jets DONE. That ain't chump change, fam.
Now, they sayin' it was just a accident, a lil' whoopsie-daisy in the air. But let's keep it 100, man. Them jets cost like $67 million a pop. That's money that coulda gone to fixin' schools, feedin' folks, or buildin' some decent housing in the hood. Instead, we watchin' pilots do stunts in the sky, and then boom, crash city.
And who pays for all this? We do. The regular folks, the ones grindin' every day just to make ends meet. They takin' our bread to fund these flyboy fantasies. It's a straight-up hustle, I'm tellin' ya.
They gone have folks feelin all patriotic and sayin' "support the troops" and all that. But what about supportin' the community? What about makin' sure kids got opportunities and ain't gotta worry 'bout where their next meal comin' from? Nah, they rather blow it all on planes that end up in a pile of scrap metal.
They sayin' the crew members, they chillin', gettin' checked out by doctors and all that jazz. But what about the stress of almost dyin'? What about the trauma? They gonna get some therapy, paid for by the same folks who can't afford to see a doctor when they sick.
And don't even get me started on this air show. They ain't had one since 2018 'cause some glider pilot crashed and died. So, basically, they bringin' back the same kinda show that already took a life? Sounds reckless af to me.
I bet you anything they already got another couple jets ready to replace them ones that crashed. Ain't no shortage of money when it comes to military toys, man. They always got the budget for that. But try askin' for some funding for after-school programs, watch how quick they shut you down.
This ain't about hatin' on the military. It's about callin' out the BS. It's about recognizin' that the system is rigged, and the money ain't flowin' where it needs to go. It's about holdin' them accountable for the way they spend our hard-earned dollars.
So next time you see one of these air shows, remember them crashed jets. Remember the money that coulda gone to your community. Remember that the game is the game, and we gotta stay woke to it. Keep your head up, stay grindin', and don't let them fool you with the smoke and mirrors.
Real talk, man. No cap.
