It’s Hot as Hell Out Here: Heatwave Pushes Europe Past 40C While Wild Storms Smash Russia and China
No cap, the weather is acting straight crazy right now with Germany melting, Russian towns getting ripped by tornadoes, and heavy downpours flooding southern China.

Man, I’m telling you, the weather in late June 2026 is acting straight up out of pocket. We ain't just talking about a little summer sweat; we are talking about a historic heatwave that’s about to cook Germany and Poland past 40C (that’s a crazy 104F for everybody back home), while rare F3 tornadoes are ripping up towns in Russia and absolute deluges are drowning out southern China. It's wild on these global streets, and you already know the regular working people are the ones catching the hardest breaks.
Let’s look at Europe first. Over in Germany and Poland, this heatwave is no joke. It's hitting right after France got baked a few days ago, and now the forecast is saying the weekend is going to be a complete furnace. You got regular brothers in Frankfurt out here working hard in the sun, having to constantly chug water just to keep from passing out. When it’s 104 degrees out, just standing on the asphalt feels like standing inside a microwave, and nobody’s giving these workers a break.
Then you got the big-money crowd over in Spielberg, Austria, running the Austrian Grand Prix. They actually had to call a "heat hazard" for the first time this season. The track is expecting temperatures to jump into the low 30s Celsius on race day, which is almost 10 degrees hotter than what they’re used to. It’s wild—when the rich folks and the high-profile racers start complaining about the heat, you know the situation on the ground for the average person is getting real critical.
The scientists are coming out saying this is the worst heatwave ever recorded on the continent. They’re straight up saying there is no way this happens without the climate crisis messing up the whole globe's natural balance. It’s crazy because the people who did the least to cause the climate breakdown are the ones who have to deal with the sweat, the high bills, and the dangerous working conditions while the elites just adjust their AC and keep moving.
And if you think the heat is crazy, look at what went down in central Russia. On the evening of June 22, a whole tornado touched down in the Sverdlovsk region, tearing through a town called Kushva. They rated this monster a 3 out of 5 on the Fujita scale. That means it had enough power to injure 16 people and absolutely trash about 100 homes and local businesses. Right now, emergency crews are on the block trying to get the power back on while everyone’s trying to pick up the pieces of their lives.
Tornadoes in Russia are super rare, but forecasters are warning everybody that this is the new normal as the climate breaks down. It's scary because these storms are getting more unpredictable, and southern Russia is still under severe storm warnings right now. Regular folks are left sitting in the dark, hoping the next storm doesn't take whatever they have left.
