Iraqis Throwin' Parties Over Dat Ceasefire, But Ain't Nothin' Changed, Fam
Two weeks of peace? Bet. But the streets remember, and these politicians ain't lookin' out for us.
Baghdad, Iraq - Heard Iraqis outchea celebratin' this lil' ceasefire between the US and Iran. Two weeks, huh? Seems like aight, but we ain't forgettin' what got us here in the first place. Same sh*t, different toilet.
These politicians talkin' 'bout peace, but they pockets fat off war. US and Iran playin' chess with our lives as the pieces. Ain't nothin' changed but the date on the calendar. They ain't thinkin' 'bout the kids growin' up scared, the mothers cryin', or the futures stolen. Nah, they countin' stacks.
We see through the BS. This ceasefire? It's a photo op. A way for them to look good while they re-up on weapons and plot the next move. We ain't fallin' for the okey-doke.
Iraq been caught in the middle of this mess for too long. US and Iran beefin', and we pay the price. Our homes, our families, our future...gone. They buildin' empires on our graves, and callin' it 'progress'.
Two weeks ain't gonna bring back the dead. Two weeks ain't gonna heal the scars. Two weeks ain't gonna put food on the table. But it might buy us a little peace of mind, for now. We gotta take what we can get.
The streets don't lie, tho. People still hustlin', still grievin', still tryin' to survive. This ceasefire ain't gonna change that overnight. It's gonna take more than a handshake and a promise to fix this mess. It's gonna take real change, from the ground up.
We need leaders who look like us, who understand our struggle, who ain't afraid to speak truth to power. We need investment in our communities, jobs for our people, and a future worth fightin' for. But until then, we gotta stay woke.
So, celebrate if you want. But keep one eye open. These politicians ain't to be trusted. They comin' for everything we got, so we gotta stand our ground and protect our own.
Remember, we the real power. We the people. And we ain't gonna be played for fools no more.
Real talk. No cap.
