IMF Say Iran War Finna Mess Up the Bag for Everybody
IMF head honcho talkin' 'bout the war wit' Iran gon' leave long-lasting scars on the global economy, even if they call a truce.

Aight, listen up, y'all. The International Monetary Fund (IMF), them folks who be playin' wit' the world's money, just dropped a bomb. They sayin' this war wit' Iran finna mess up the whole global economy, for real, for real. Kristalina Georgieva, the head of the IMF, out here sayin' even if they manage to squash this beef, the damage already done. Sh*t ain't gon' be the same, period.
She said the “scarring effects” of this war gon' make global growth slower than they thought. They was even thinkin' 'bout boostin' they predictions 'fore this whole thing popped off. Now, even the best-case scenario lookin' weak. This ceasefire they talkin' 'bout? Shaky af. Washington and Tehran still arguin' 'bout what they even agreed on. Sounds familiar, don't it?
The price of oil goin' up, cuz folks scared 'bout them supply lines gettin' cut off through the Strait of Hormuz. That's that spot where all the oil gotta pass through. No oil, no gas, no nothin'. Everythang gettin' more expensive. They talkin' 'bout how this war gon' hit livin' standards hard. Like we ain't already strugglin' out here.
The IMF was all hyped 'bout this AI boom, but now they singin' a different tune. They blamin' infrastructure damage, supply chain problems, and everybody losin' faith. But who really payin' the price? It ain't them up in they ivory towers. It's us, the everyday people, tryna make a dolla out of fifteen cents.
Georgieva talkin' 'bout how they don't know what's gon' happen with the oil shipments and the airports. “We don’t truly know what the future holds,” she say. Well, damn, neither do we! But we the ones gotta deal with it. She sayin' oil-importin' countries, poor countries, and small islands gon' get hit the hardest. Basically, the folks who already ain't got nothin' gon' get even less. That's how it always goes.
She tellin' governments not to do no crazy sh*t like blockin' exports or controllin' prices. “Don’t pour gasoline on the fire,” she say. But what about takin' care of the people? What about makin' sure we can eat and keep the lights on? They always worried 'bout the big picture, never 'bout the little man.
They sayin' governments need to focus on “targeted and temporary support measures.” Translation: Some bullsh*t band-aid solutions that ain't gon' fix nothin'. We need real change, not just a little help here and there. We need jobs, we need affordable housing, we need a system that ain't rigged against us from the jump.
