Housing Game Rigged: Young Bloods Can't Afford No Cribs!
Big Boss at Barratt Redrow sayin' it's harder than ever for young folks to cop a house wit' all this debt and these whack wages.

Aight, real talk. The head honcho over at Barratt Redrow, this dude David Thomas, just dropped some truth bombs. He said it's straight-up harder than a motherfucker for young brothas and sistas to get they own spot right now. Like, since that whole 2008 crash, this is the toughest it's been. No cap.
He blamin' it on a trifecta of bullsh*t: interest rates goin' up, student loans eatin' everybody's paper, and wages stayin' stagnant. So, basically, you workin' yo ass off, tryna stay afloat, but the game is stacked against you from the jump. They ain't tryna let you build nothin', mane.
That student loan debt is a straight-up trap. You go to college, try to better yo self, and then they hit you wit' these crazy-ass loans that eat up all yo potential income. The banks look at that debt and be like, 'Nah, fam, you ain't gettin' no mortgage.' It's a system designed to keep you down, feel me?
And who benefitin' from this? The older heads, the ones who already got they bag and they crib. They chillin', while you stressin' 'bout rent and never ownin' nothin'. That's why the wealth gap keep growin', and the rich stay rich while the rest of us scrapin' by.
This dude Thomas talkin' 'bout the guv'ment needin' to step in and help out. But let's be real, the guv'ment ain't lookin' out for us. They lookin' out for the corporations and the rich folks. Any 'help' they offer gonna come wit' strings attached, bet.
Zoopla, that real estate website, sayin' there's less first-time buyers out here. But the ones who still in the game tryna buy more expensive spots. That's just people tryna keep up wit' the Joneses, even when they can't afford it. It's a vicious cycle.
In London, they sayin' a starter home cost over 500K. Sheesh! Who got that kinda bread? Most young brothas and sistas ain't even seein' that kinda money in they lifetime. That's why everybody stuck livin' wit' they parents or crammin' into tiny-ass apartments.
So, what's the move? Gotta find a way to break the cycle. Start yo own business, invest in yourself, learn some skills that can't be outsourced. And most importantly, gotta support each other and build community. 'Cause ain't nobody gonna help us but us.
Stay woke, y'all. The system ain't gonna change itself. We gotta make it happen. For real.
