Gov'ment Messin' Wit Da Bag Again: Labor's Housing Plan Gon' Hurt Us All?
They sayin' it's for the community, but dis new tax stuff sound like straight-up gentrification 2.0, fam. Watch your pockets.

Aight, so peep dis. The government tryna switch up the game on negative gearin' and capital gains tax, right? They sayin' it's 'bout helpin' folks get houses, makin' it fair for everybody. But lemme tell you somethin', when da gov'ment say dat, dat's when you gotta clutch your wallet tight.
Negative gearin'? Dat's how landlords write off losses on dem properties, keepin' rents kinda reasonable, ya feel me? But now, they wanna limit dat to new builds only. So guess what? Landlords gon' pass dat cost right on down to us, da tenants. Rent's already high as hell, and they 'bout to crank it up even more.
And dis capital gains tax mess? Dat's gonna hit folks who tryin' to build generational wealth. They taxin' the gains when you sell somethin'? Sounds like a way to keep us from ever gettin' ahead, ya feel me?
Maiy Azize from Everybody's Home talkin' 'bout landlords shouldn't raise rents. Girl, please. Landlords ain't known for bein' generous. They see a chance to make a buck, they gon' take it. That's just the real.
They sayin' dis gon' help first-time homebuyers. But how you gonna buy a house when rent eatin' up all your bread? Dis ain't no solution, it's just rearrangin' the deck chairs on the Titanic.
Acoss policy director Jacqueline Phillips talkin' 'bout 'inequality.' But dis ain't fixin' nothin'. It's just shufflin' the money around, and guess who always gets the short end of the stick? Us.
The Shadow Treasurer is hollerin' 'bout rent hikes in Sydney and Melbourne. Bet. They always look out for the rich folk first, but at least somebody speaking truth to power
Don't let these politicians and these bougie advocates gas you up with dis 'fairness' talk. Dis ain't 'bout fairness, it's 'bout control and keepin' us down. Stay woke, stay informed, and watch your pockets, cuz they comin' for dat bread.
