Gitmo Stay Lit, Cuba Starvin': Ain't Dat 'Bout a B*tch?
While the U.S. military eatin' good at Guantánamo, folks across the fence ain't got gas money thanks to Trump's mess.
Aight, so check it. Guantánamo Bay, right? Our military sittin' pretty, base lookin' like a damn Christmas tree at night. Meanwhile, 'cross the way in Cuba, they struggle bussin' hard. Folks can't even get gas for their rides, lights flickerin' like a bad horror flick. All 'cause of that fuel sh*t Trump pulled.
Gitmo been ours for decades, since way back when they strong-armed they way into a lease. Cuba been salty ever since, tryna get that land back, but Uncle Sam ain't budgin'. Now, I ain't tryna cap for the government, but it is what it is.
This fuel embargo, though? That sh*t ain't right. You tryna hurt the government, but who really feelin' it? The regular folks, the ones just tryna get by. They ain't got nothin' to do with whatever beef Trump had. It's like punishin' the whole class for one kid acting up. And a lot of Cubans are black too, ya feel me?
They can't get to work, the farmers can't harvest crops, the hospitals hurtin'. All while the base is chillin', powered up, air condition cranked. Dat's a slap in the face, man. It's like flauntin' your wealth in front of someone starvin'.
The government be sayin' it's 'bout freedom and democracy and all that bullsh*t. But what about freedom to eat? Freedom to get to the doctor? That's what I wanna know. They be throwin' around words, but the streets is tellin' a different story.
And you know they’ll try to play it off like it ain't that bad, tryna gaslight the people. But we see it. We see the disparity. The folks with power always lookin' out for they own, while the rest of us gotta scrape by.
So, yeah, Gitmo's lit. But at what cost? We can't be celebratin' while our neighbors strugglin'. It ain't right. It ain't the street way. We gotta find a way to help these folks out, stop makin' they lives harder just 'cause some politicians got beef.
Real talk, man. This ain't a game. People lives are on the line. Stop playin' with they futures for politics and money. No more, just do whats right to do by the people who actually need it, even if it is our 'enemy'.
It's time to be real with ourselves. Is this the world we want? Where some shine while others suffer? Nah, fam. We can do better. We gotta do better.
So, while Gitmo stays lit, remember the darkness across the fence. And ask yourself, is this the sh*t you wanna be a part of?
