Germany Tryna Save These Clubs? Real Talk, What About the People?
Gov'ment talkin' 'bout reclassifying nightclubs while folks struggle to pay rent – priorities all outta whack, fam.

Aight, so peep this: Germany, right? They talkin' 'bout reclassifying nightclubs as, like, cultural spaces. Word? I mean, on one hand, I get it. Clubs is where people vibe, where artists get they start, where the community comes together. But on the other hand, come on, man. Folks out here strugglin' to pay rent, put food on the table, and these politicians worried 'bout if Watergate stays open?
They sayin' this reclassification gonna help clubs 'cause it'll be harder for developers to shut 'em down and build condos. Okay, cool. But what about the people gettin' pushed outta they homes by these same developers? Where's the help for them? Friedrich Merz and his crew ain't thinkin' 'bout that, are they?
See, right now, clubs get lumped in with strip clubs and gamblin' joints. Which is kinda messed up, 'cause a good club ain't just about gettin' drunk and wildin' out. It's about the music, the art, the connection. But still, reclassifying ain't gonna solve the real problem, which is that everything's gettin' too damn expensive.
This dude Marc Wohlrabe, this lobbyist dude, callin' it a 'historic moment.' Man, please. This ain't history, this is just rich folks lookin' out for they own. He sayin' clubs is like theaters, nurturin' talent. I mean, sometimes, yeah. But mostly, it's just a place to drop a grip on overpriced liquor and try to holla at somebody.
They talkin' 'bout this 'Clubsterben,' the death of clubs. Sayin' Berlin losin' all its spots 'cause of rent and noise complaints. But what they not sayin' is that these clubs ain't always lookin' out for the community. Some of 'em pumpin' that bass all night, keepin' folks up. Some of 'em overchargin' for drinks, takin' advantage of people just tryna have a good time. So, excuse me if I ain't cryin' no tears.
SchwuZ, Watergate, Mensch Meier… they all closed down. Yeah, it's sad. But new spots gonna pop up. That's how it always is. The Clubcommission sayin' half the clubs in Berlin thinkin' 'bout closin'. Maybe they need to step they game up. Maybe they need to start givin' back to the community. Just sayin'.
Even the Culture Minister, Wolfram Weimer, supportin' this. Sayin' it's important to separate music clubs from 'pure entertainment.' Man, it's all entertainment. It's just some people makin' money off it, and some people spendin' they hard-earned cash. I don't have the extra to spend at a club.
This whole thing just feel like another example of the gov'ment lookin' out for the corporations while the rest of us struggle. They fix they face for the camera and do what's politically correct. I'm not buying it. What about the people, the real people, out here grindin' every day? Where's our lifeline? Where's our support? Don't be blind, man. We gotta keep it real and demand better. This ain't about clubs, this about priorities. And right now, them priorities is all messed up. And that ain't what's up, no cap.
Politicians are just looking for the votes in the 2021 'political declaration of intent'. They just saying what they have to to survive in politics. Don't buy it.
