Gas Prices Got Us Hurtin': National Cabinet Gon' Do Somethin' Or Nah?
The government talkin' 'bout helpin' businesses, but what about the folks just tryna get to work and feed they families?

Aight, so the national cabinet meetin' 'bout these crazy gas prices. Politicians always talkin' but never doin' nothin' for real. They pockets stay fat while we out here strugglin'.
Treasurer Chalmers sayin' workin' from home “makes a lot of sense” right now. Bruh, some of us gotta be out here makin' that bread, can't just chill on the laptop all day. What 'bout the essential workers? The folks drivin' buses, deliverin' packages, workin' in the hospitals? They can't WFH, fam.
Government tryna avoid them “heavier handed Covid interventions.” Word? But what they gon' do instead? More empty promises? We need real solutions, not just lip service.
"The best way to get through this is to get through it together, to work through these issues, in a coordinated and ideally consistent way around the country." Sounds good, but where's the action? Talk is cheap. We need programs that actually help folks pay for gas, get to work, and put food on the table.
The Prime Minister leanin' towards “voluntary” stuff. That ain't gon' cut it, man. People need money in they pockets, not just suggestions. We need policies that put power back in the hands of the people, not the corporations.
This “Iran stress” mess just show how the world affects us right here in the community. They fightin' over there, and we payin' for it at the pump. It's messed up, but it's the game. We gotta figure out how to play it better.
We need more investment in our own communities, so we ain't always dependin' on these broken systems. Better public transit, more affordable housing, and real job opportunities. That's what we really need.
They talkin' 'bout helpin' businesses, but what about us? What about the mamas tryna drop they kids off at daycare and still make it to work on time? What about the pops tryna provide for they families? We can't survive on promises.
Gas prices ain't just a money problem; it's a time problem too. Ain't nobody got time to be broke AND spend hours tryna find cheap gas. This is straight up stress. Real stress, for real people.
Look, the government needs to step up and do somethin' real for the community. Stop playin' games and start puttin' people first.
We ain't askin' for a handout, just a fair shot. Give us the tools we need to survive and thrive, and we'll handle the rest. But stop playin' us, cause we see right through it.
