Fo Real Tho? That Ain't Turner on the 20?
They got us walkin' around with a fake face on our money? This some bull, man.

Aight, listen up. So, they tryna tell us that the dude on the £20, the one we been thinkin' is JMW Turner, might not even be Turner? Some art dude named Dr. James Hamilton sayin' it's probly this other cat, John Opie. Straight up, this got me heated.
For years, we been seein' this picture, thinkin' we know who it is. Now they wanna switch it up? What else they lyin' 'bout? This ain't just about some fancy art stuff, this about trust, fam. If they can fake this, what else they hidin'?
Hamilton say he been lookin' at this painting for years, even put it on his book cover, but now he's like, "Nah, that ain't Turner's style." So, what, he just woke up one day and realized this? Sounds suspect to me. He sayin' that when Turner died and left all his art to the country, they just threw everything together without checkin' it properly. Sounds like some lazy BS if you ask me.
They had a whole court case and everything after Turner died, and at the end the family got money, and the country got the art. And the country folks didn't bother to properly catalog and label everything. If they do that with art, imagine what other corners they cuttin' elsewhere. This is our history, our culture, and they playin' games with it.
And this Opie dude, who's the real artist allegedly, he painted a bunch of other artists too. They might have just given the painting of Turner to Turner 'cause that's how artists be supporting each other. So now we potentially got two artists getting disrespected by this misattribution.
This ain't just about some old painting, this about respect. Respect for the artists, respect for the history, and respect for the people who gotta use that £20 every day. We out here hustlin', grindin', and they puttin' fake faces on our money? Nah, that ain't right.
The Tate Britain, they gotta step up and get this sorted. If this Hamilton dude is right, they need to change the label, change the books, change everything. We need the truth, not some watered-down version cooked up by the elites.
And the Bank of England, they need to listen up too. If they find out that the face on the £20 is wrong, they need to fix it. Put a real face on there, someone who represents the real people of this country. Someone who ain't been whitewashed and sanitized for the history books. No cap.
Dr. Pieter van der Merwe, the head of the Turner Society, agrees with Hamilton. This ain't just one dude's opinion. This is a whole movement to set the record straight. So, let's get loud, let's get organized, and let's demand the truth. They can't keep playin' us like this.
