Fo' Real? Dude Gets Busted Years Later in Cali Teen's Case
They finally snatched up shawty in connection to Victoria Marquina's disappearance, but it's been mad long, tho.

STOCKTON, Calif. – Aight, so check it: This cat Joshua Martinez, 28, finally got locked up for the disappearance of Victoria Marquina, this 17-year-old from Sutter Creek, back in 2019. They had dude on the radar way back when, but shorty walked 'cause they ain't have enough evidence. Now, they got him locked up in San Joaquin County Jail with NO bail, according to the DA.
Victoria went missin' in October 2019, straight up vanished. Her phone last pinged in San Joaquin County on the 9th. They say she was last seen with Martinez in Livingston. Four days later, they found her car abandoned in Escalon. Real suspect.
Word on the street is, this dude bounced to Mexico after she disappeared. CBS 13 said he told the cops he just dropped her off and that she lied about her age when they first picked him up back in 2020. Like, seriously? Sounds like some low-down grimey sh*t.
And peep this: the case got transferred from Amador County to San Joaquin County 'cause that's where they found her car. You know how the system is, playin' games when a young girl is missin'.
Now he lookin' at murder, statutory rape, and all kinda other child sex charges. If he get convicted, he's lookin' at life. Straight up.
Her peoples raised 60 stacks in reward money 'cause the case went cold. That's how much they trust these cops to do their job. They had to put up their own bread to get some answers.
Martinez is due in court at 1:30 p.m. PT. The DA gonna hold a press conference afterward. Bet they gonna try and act like they been on this the whole time. But we see through that BS, tho.
This sh*t is tragic, man. Another young life gone, and the system movin' slow as molasses. Hopefully, Victoria's family finally gets some closure. But real talk, this ain't just about one case. This is about protectin' our young girls and holdin' these predators accountable. Ain't no room for that in our community.
