Feds Trippin' Over Online Betting, But Still Letting the Rich Get Richer
Senate talkin' 'bout game integrity, but ain't sayin' nothin' 'bout how casinos been robbin' folks blind for decades.

Aight, so check it. These cats in the Senate, right? They held a whole hearing Wednesday 'bout online sports betting and prediction markets. Said they worried 'bout folks cheatin' and the integrity of the games. Word? But where was this same energy when Wall Street was crashin' the economy and the banks was gettin' bailed out with our tax dollars?
Ted Cruz, that dude from Texas, he frontin' like he cares 'bout the integrity of sports. Man, please. These leagues ain't never been fair. They all 'bout money. And now that everyday people can get a piece of the pie through online betting, suddenly it's a problem?
They talkin' 'bout these prediction market apps like Kalshi and Polymarket, where folks can bet on anything from what a celeb gon' say to if some foreign leader gon' get whacked. Sen. Hickenlooper worried 'bout the youngstas gettin' hooked. But ain't nobody worried 'bout the predatory payday loans and rent-to-own schemes that keep our communities in debt traps?
Some dude named Patrick McHenry claimin' the average user on these sites is 33. Yeah, and I got a bridge to sell you. We know who really be on these apps: broke college kids tryna make a quick buck and heads lookin' for a hustle.
Since 2018, when the Supreme Court gave the green light, online sports betting been blowin' up. Billions of dollars flowin' in. The American Gaming Association lovin' it. But where that money goin'? Back into our communities? Nah. It's lining the pockets of these corporations and politicians.
Then this cat Harry Levant talkin' 'bout his own gambling addiction. I feel you, fam. Addiction is real. But don't blame the game, blame the player. Personal responsibility, my dude.
Bill Miller from the Gaming Association tryin' to say it's all regulated already. But we know how that goes. These corporations always findin' loopholes to exploit. That's the game, right?
Minnesota banned prediction markets. Good for them. But that ain't gon' stop nothin'. People always find a way to gamble. It's in our blood.
At the end of the day, this whole hearing just another example of the system tryna control us. They worried 'bout us makin' a few dollars off online betting, but they ain't worried 'bout the real problems: poverty, inequality, and systemic oppression. Keep your eye on the ball, y'all. Don't let these politicians distract you from what's really goin' on.
