Feds Trippin': DOJ Clamps Down on Sanctuary States Over ICE Plates
Gov'ment mad 'cause states ain't playin' ball with ICE, sayin' it's a life-or-death situation—but who really at risk?

Aight, so check it. The DOJ, yeah, the same folks who be watchin' us, is throwin' a fit 'cause some sanctuary states ain't handin' out undercover license plates to ICE like candy. They claimin' it's a matter of life and death, sayin' ICE agents gonna be targets and operations gon' fall apart. But lemme keep it a buck: Who really benefits from ICE bein' lowkey anyway?
We talkin' 'bout states like Washington, Maine, Oregon, Massachusetts. These states been tryna shield folks from ICE's heavy hand, and now the feds comin' down hard. Deputy Assistant Attorney General Brett Shumate (never heard of cuz) sent a letter to Washington's AG, talkin' 'bout how they violatin' the Supremacy Clause. Basically, fed law trumps state law, and they sayin' Washington can't just refuse to give ICE these plates.
But here's the real tea: these undercover plates ain't 'bout protectin' agents, they 'bout makin' it easier for ICE to snatch folks up without warning. We seen how ICE operates—raids in the middle of the night, families torn apart, and folks gettin' deported for minor offenses. So, excuse us if we ain't sheddin' no tears 'cause ICE gotta work a lil' harder.
Maine already paused givin' out these plates, sayin' they worried 'bout "targeted enforcement operations." Translation: ICE was prolly targetin' Black and Brown communities. We know the game. They ain't foolin' nobody. These policies ain't gon’ keep nobody safe for real.
The DOJ givin' Washington until May 22 to comply or face legal action. That's a straight-up threat. They tryin' to flex their muscle and show these states who's boss. But the real question is: Who do these states represent? The people, or the feds? Real ones be knowin' the feds don't be lookin' out for us.
At the end of the day, this ain't 'bout protectin' ICE agents, it's 'bout control. It's 'bout makin' sure the feds can do whatever they want, wherever they want, without any pushback. And that's why these sanctuary states standin' up, even if it means gettin' sued. Gotta stay woke, y'all. They gotta know we watching.
They wanna say this shit for public safety but who really safe out here? We gotta protect each other from the feds. We gotta keep it real and build our own communities.
