FedEx Driver Threw That Lil Girl Like Trash: System Done Failed Her
Another Black child gone too soon, and these corporations don't give a damn about who they hire as long as them packages get delivered.

Aight, check it. This FedEx dude, Tanner Horner, straight up admitted he "kind of tossed" 7-year-old Athena Strand in the woods after he offed her. Tossed her! Like she was some garbage. That's cold, man, ice cold.
They say he was delivering a package of Barbie dolls for her Christmas gift. A Christmas gift! And he snatched her, strangled her, and then dumped her body like she was nothin'. This is the world we livin' in, where innocent kids ain't safe even when they waitin' on Santa.
They showing this interrogation tape in court, tryna decide if they gonna give him the needle or life. Either way, that ain't bringin' Athena back. And what about FedEx? They gonna get away with this? They need to be held accountable for who they put behind them wheels.
This ain't just about one sicko, this about the whole system. These companies be cuttin' corners, hirin' anybody they can find, just to make that paper. They don't care about background checks, they don't care about your safety. All they care about is that bottom line.
Prosecutor James Stainton said this dude told Athena, "Don’t scream or I’ll hurt you." Can you imagine that? A grown man threatening a lil' girl like that? And they say she fought him hard. That's my girl, showin' 'em that Black girl magic even in the face of death.
And then they hit us with the DNA evidence. Tanner Horner's DNA "in places where you shouldn’t find DNA on a 7-year-old girl." Nah, fam, that's sick. That's some real devilish sh*t right there. This dude needs to rot in hell.
Athena's father is suing FedEx and the contractor that hired this fool. He needs to get every single penny. They failed his daughter, and they need to pay the price. This ain't just about the money, it's about justice for Athena.
We gotta start protectin' our kids, y'all. These streets ain't safe, and these corporations ain't got our backs. We gotta look out for each other, teach our kids to be aware of their surroundings, and hold these companies accountable when they mess up.
This ain't no game, this is real life. Athena's gone, and her family is broken. We gotta make sure this never happens again. We gotta fight for justice, protect our kids, and hold these corporations accountable. Period.
Rest in Power, Athena. Your life mattered, and we ain't gonna let your name be forgotten. We gonna keep fightin' until we get justice for you and all the other Black children who have been lost too soon. For real.
They wanna give this dude a slap on the wrist and call it a day, but nah, we ain't havin' that. Justice for Athena! No cap!
