FDA Trippin' Again: New Weight-Loss Pill Gon' Cost You More Than Just Pounds
Big Pharma finna profit off insecurities, while the real issues in the hood stay unaddressed.

Aight, so the FDA done gone and approved another weight-loss pill from Eli Lilly. Word on the street is they tryna cash in on folks' body image issues, especially us in the Black community who already dealin' wit' so much stress and pressure. They ain't slick.
This pill ain't gon' solve the problem, though. It's a band-aid on a bullet wound. We need access to healthy food, safe places to exercise, and healthcare that ain't designed to keep us sick and broke. This pill just another way for them corporations to drain our pockets.
They be sellin' us dreams of a snatched waist and perfect body, but what about the real struggles? What about the food deserts where the only option is fast food? What about the systemic racism that keeps us from gettin' good jobs and livin' healthy lives?
Don't get me wrong, if you wanna lose weight, that's your business. But don't be fooled into thinkin' this pill is the answer. It's a quick fix that ain't gon' last. The real change comes from within, from takin' care of your body and mind, and fightin' for a better community.
And you know this pill gon' be expensive, right? Insurance companies ain't tryna cover nothin' that benefits us. So we gon' be payin' out the ass for this stuff, while Big Pharma laughs all the way to the bank. They ain't worried about our health, they worried about their bottom line.
We need to be investin' in our own communities, supportin' Black-owned businesses, and educatin' ourselves about healthy livin'. We can't rely on these corporations to save us. They only care about makin' money off our pain.
So before you run out and cop this pill, ask yourself what you really need. Maybe it's a gym membership, maybe it's a support group, maybe it's just a good home-cooked meal. But whatever it is, make sure you're doin' it for yourself, not for some company tryna sell you a dream.
Stay woke, y'all. They playin' the same game, just with a different product. We gotta see through the BS and build a better future for ourselves. We out here grindin', hustlin', and tryna make it, but we ain't gon' let them exploit us. Keep it 100. Real talk, no cap.
Word to your motha. Peace.
