Fam Finally Gettin' More Time to Fight Dem Weak-Ass Sentences, But the System Still Rigged Tho
Six months to challenge a messed-up sentence ain't gonna fix everything, but it's a start – still gotta watch out for the same old BS.

Aight, so they finally listenin' up a lil bit. My man David Lammy sayin' victims and fam gettin' six months now to challenge these whack sentences judges be handin' out. Used to be 28 days, which is straight up disrespectful when you tryna grieve and fight the system at the same time. It's like, they expect you to be a lawyer and a therapist right after losin' your loved one? Nah, son.
Tracey Hanson, whose son Josh got murked in the club, been on this since day one. She was fightin' to get that weak sentence overturned but ran outta time. That's how they get you, playin' with the clock while you dealin' with the pain. Now, she sayin' it's a victory, but we still gotta stay woke.
And Katie Brett, her sister Sasha got done dirty too. She ain't even know she could challenge the sentence till it was too late. That's the problem, man. They don't tell us nothin'. Keep us in the dark while they runnin' game.
This six-month thing is cool, but it ain't gonna solve everything. The whole system is still rigged against us. Judges still be biased, cops still be harassin', and the rich still get away with murder, literally. We gotta keep fightin' for real justice, not just crumbs from the table.
And don't even get me started on how this only applies to certain crimes. What about the folks gettin' railroaded for lesser charges? Or the ones who can't afford a lawyer to fight for 'em? This ain't about equal justice, it's about makin' it look like they care.
So yeah, take the six months. Use it. Fight for your loved ones. But don't think this is the end of the road. We still got a long way to go before we get true justice in this country. Stay vigilant, stay woke, and stay fightin'. For real.
Keep it 100, they ain't doin' this outta the goodness of they hearts. They doin' it 'cause we been yellin' loud enough. Gotta keep the pressure on. No justice, no peace.
