FAA Tryna Keep Us From Flyin' High: Drone Ban Comin' to the Crib?
Them folks in DC tryna lock down the skies, sayin' it's for our own good, but who they really protectin'?

Aight, listen up, fam. The FAA, that government agency, is comin' for our drones. They talkin' 'bout makin' certain areas 'drone-free zones,' claimin' it's about protectin' 'critical infrastructure.' But real talk, who is that really helpin'?
See, a lot of that 'critical infrastructure' be in or near our neighborhoods. Power plants, water treatment spots, the places they don't want the rich folks livin' by. So, what they really sayin' is, we can't even fly our drones near our own cribs.
They sayin' it's 'bout security, but it's always 'bout control. Drones ain't no real threat to them fancy power plants. If somebody wanted to mess somethin' up, they got way better ways than a lil' drone from Amazon.
This mess gonna hit small businesses the hardest. The side hustlers, the folks tryin' to make a honest bread flyin' drones. How they gonna get their gigs? Can't get close enough to do drone photography or inspection work if the FAA says no.
And let's be real, who you think they gonna be checkin' up on the most? It ain't gonna be them white boys in the suburbs flyin' drones for fun. It's gonna be us, in our neighborhoods, just tryna make a livin'.
It's the same old story, different day. They puttin' up walls and sayin' it's for our protection, but really they just tryna keep us down. Keep us from movin', from seein', from flyin' too close to the truth.
The government talks about protecting our communities but this rule could effectively limit our ability to document environmental issues and other potential problems in our own neighborhoods. This can create problems for our communities.
They always tryna find ways to limit us. But we gotta stay sharp, stay informed, and stay flyin' – legally, of course. Know your rights, know the rules, and don't let 'em push you around.
This whole situation reminds me of the lyrics from Dead Prez: “It's bigger than hip-hop! Hip-hop is the culture, we speak for these people! We tellin' them what's really goin' on!”
Stay woke, fam. They ain't lookin' out for us. We gotta look out for each other. Keep one eye on the sky and one eye on the man.
Don’t be a pawn in they game. This is chess, not checkers. Plan your moves and peep the whole board.
This drone thing ain’t just about toys in the sky. It’s about who gets to control the narrative and who gets to see what's really happenin'.
