EPA Trippin': Feds Cut Funding for Pollution Research in WA, Leaving the Hood Hangin'
They cuttin' funds for real research that could help the community? This ain't right, fam.
Aight, so check it. The EPA, yeah, them folks who supposed to be protectin' the environment, just pulled the plug on this scientist, Melanie Malone, who was doin' work on contamination in Washington State. She was lookin' into dirty water and soil, tryna figure out where the poison comin' from. Straight up, this affects us in the hood the most 'cause them factories and dump sites always end up in our backyard.
Now they sayin' they ain't got no more bread for her research. What kinda BS is that? Meanwhile, they fundin' all kinda other stuff that ain't helpin' nobody on the streets. This is why we can't trust the system, man. They sayin' they care about the environment, but they ain't lookin' out for the people who get hit the hardest.
This ain't just about some science project, this is about our health, our kids' health, our future. We drinkin' this water, growin' food in this soil. If it's contaminated, we gettin' sick. And who gonna pay for that? Not the EPA, that's for sure. They already dipped out.
They always talkin' 'bout equality and equity, but this right here is a prime example of how the system designed to keep us down. They ain't investin' in the communities that need it the most. They takin' away resources that could actually make a difference.
It's like they don't even see us. We just numbers on a spreadsheet to them. They talkin' 'bout climate change and global warming, but they ain't addressin' the pollution right here in our neighborhoods. It's hypocritical, straight up.
We gotta wake up and realize they not comin' to save us. We gotta save ourselves. We gotta demand accountability from these agencies. We gotta organize and fight for our right to clean air, clean water, and a healthy environment.
This ain't no game, this is real life. We gotta protect our communities. We gotta look out for each other. We gotta let them know we ain't gonna stand for this no more. Enough is enough. They can't just keep disrespectin' us like this.
This whole situation is sus, man. You gotta ask yourself, who really benefits from this? Who doesn't want us to know what's goin' on with the pollution in our community? Follow the money, that's what I always say.
We gotta start doin' our own research, finding our own solutions. We can't rely on these institutions to look out for us, 'cause they ain't gonna do it. It's time to rise up and take control of our own destiny.
Stay woke, y'all. Don't let them fool you. This is just another example of the system failin' us. We gotta be the change we wanna see in the world.
Keep it 100, ya dig?
