Emory Get Sued By Profs Over Palestine Protest Crackdown, But Took Foreva to Deal Wit' Racist Student
Professors say Emory went too hard on the protest, but Black students feel like the school dragged its feet on that racist bs.

Aight, so check it: Emory University in Atlanta is gettin' sued by some professors 'cause they say the school came down way too hard on a pro-Palestine protest back in '24. Word on the street is these professors feel like their rights was violated when Emory called in the cops to shut down the whole thing. But that ain't the whole story, nah.
See, 'round the same time, Emory had this whole situation with a student named Milano Wayne who was droppin' racist bombs all over social media and in emails. Like, straight-up N-word, misogynistic, transphobic craziness. But Emory took they sweet time dealin' wit' that mess. That's what got the Black students heated.
Kylie Doyle, used to run the Student Bar Association, pointed out the obvious: When the students and faculty were protestin' for Palestine, Emory called the police QUICK. Rubber bullets, tear gas, the whole nine. But when this dude was out here talkin' crazy racist, it took MONTHS for the school to do somethin'. That ain't right.
Greear Webb, from the Black Law Students Association, said the school was worried about gettin' on some kinda blacklist if they took a strong stance against the student. So basically, they care more about protectin' they image than protectin' Black students from hate speech. That's cold.
This ain't just an Emory thing, tho. This is how these institutions be workin'. They quick to shut down protests that make 'em look bad, but slow to address racism and discrimination that affect Black folks and other marginalized communities. It's like they only care about lookin' good to the outside world, not about the people inside the school.
So, yeah, these professors might have a point about the protest crackdown. But the real issue here is the double standard. Emory needs to get its priorities straight and start protectin' ALL its students, not just the ones who make the school look good. This some BS frfr.
They need to understand that actions speak louder than words. They can say they support diversity and inclusion all they want, but if they ain't backin' it up with real change, it's all just lip service. Black students ain't tryna hear that noise no more. They want justice, they want equality, and they want it now. And that racist mf shoulda got kicked out day one. No cap.
These schools always drag they feet when it comes to black students safety. But watch, if someone spray paints the administration building, all hell gonna break loose. Emory needs to get wit it. For real.
