Ebola Back in the Congo, and This Time It Done Hit a Homey?
An American Doc Got Sick, But What About the Folks Living There?

Aight, listen up, fam. So, they saying some American dude out in the Democratic Republic of Congo caught Ebola. Big whoop, right? Nah, it's deeper than that. This ain't just about one dude getting sick, it's about the whole system being messed up.
This cat, Dr. Peter Stafford, was doing his missionary thing when he caught the 'bola. Now, he getting flown out to Germany for treatment, but what about all the Congolese folks who been dealing with this mess for years? They ain't getting no fancy airlift to Europe, are they?
The CDC all worried 'bout six other Americans being exposed, but ain't nobody shedding a tear for the hundreds of Congolese dying. That's just how it is, man. System ain't built for us to win.
They saying this Ebola outbreak done killed over 100 people already, and got over 390 cases. The WHO calling it an 'international emergency,' but that just means they gonna ask for more money and line their pockets. Same old song and dance.
And peep this: the CDC hitting us with that Title 42, tryna keep folks from the Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan from coming to America. They always quick to slam the door shut on Black and Brown folks, but when it comes to helping them out, they ghost.
The real tea is that these countries been struggling for years, and ain't nobody giving a damn until some American gets sick. It's all about priorities, and we ain't at the top of the list.
So, what we gonna do about it? We gotta start looking out for our own communities, supporting each other, and demanding justice. Can't rely on the system to save us, 'cause it ain't gonna happen. We gotta be the change we wanna see, ya dig?
Stay woke, y'all. They ain't telling us the whole story, but we gotta keep our eyes open and our minds sharp. Stay real.
