Eaton Fire Report Say No Bias? Bet. Tell That to the Folks West of Lake Ave.
They tryna tell us the fire just happened to burn down the Black side of town extra quick? Nah, son, somethin' ain't right.

Aight, so peep this: this report just dropped sayin' ain't no discrimination in how LA County handled the Eaton fire in Altadena. Word? They say the firemen ain't racist, the evacuation orders was just late 'cause… reasons. But tell that to the folks livin' west of Lake Avenue, where most the Black folks stay. They houses burnt to the ground, and now they tryna say it was all just a coincidence? I'm callin' cap.
This fire, man, it was a mess. Started January 7th, 2025, burned down over 9,000 buildings, killed 19 people. And the folks in West Altadena swear they didn't get the word to evacuate till way later than everybody else. Like, ten hours later. Think about that. Ten hours while your house is turnin' to ashes. And they expect us to believe that ain't got nothin' to do with race? Come on, bruh.
This Citygate Associates, they the ones who did the report. Said the firemen was just too busy, didn't realize how fast the fire was spreadin'. But Altadena for Accountability, they ain't buyin' it. They callin' the report straight-up deflection, sayin' it's all about protectin' the fire department, not listenin' to the people who actually lost they homes. And you know they right.
Attorney General Bonta started an investigation, but this report kinda throws a wrench in that. The fire chief talkin' 'bout transparency, but if this report is the truth, then I don't know what is. They claim the evacuation plan was based on major streets, like Lake Avenue. But that just so happens to be the street that divides the Black folks from the rest of the town. How convenient.
Plus, they sayin' they was busy fightin' another fire in Pacific Palisades, which is a whole 'nother world, money-wise. So, the rich folks gettin' saved while the Black folks gotta fend for themselves? Sounds about white… I mean, sounds about right.
We gotta remember Katrina, man. Remember what happened in New Orleans? They left us to drown. This ain't nothin' new. They always gonna look out for they own first. That’s just how the system set up.
So, what we gotta do? We gotta look out for each other. We gotta organize, we gotta speak up, and we gotta make sure this never happens again. Can't rely on the government to save us. Gotta be our own heroes. Gotta have each other's backs. Cuz ain't nobody else gonna do it for us. Period. Point blank.
