Dem Lawmakers Say US Got Cuba In A Chokehold Over Fuel
Reps Jayapal & Jackson came back from Cuba sayin' the US embargo is straight up suffocatin' the island.

Aight, so check it. Two Dem reps, Jayapal and Jackson, just got back from Cuba, and they're talkin' 'bout how the US got they foot on Cuba's neck. They sayin' this whole embargo thing ain't nothin' but an 'illegal U.S. blockade of fuel' and some 'economic bombing' type situation. Real talk, they sayin' it's messin' wit' the whole island.
They dropped this joint statement, sayin' the U.S. ain't let a single drop of oil hit Cuba for over three months. Three months! That's wild. They callin' it 'cruel collective punishment' and sayin' it's causin' permanent damage. Man, that's harsh. Folks need gas to cook, get to work, everything. You can't choke a country like that and expect them to prosper.
These lawmakers say they saw firsthand how folks is strugglin'. Babies in incubators at risk 'cause the power flickerin', kids can't get to school 'cause ain't no gas, and folks can't get they meds. They sayin' it's a whole humanitarian crisis out there. It's like, damn, what's really good?
They went to all these different folks: families, preachers, business owners, government, even folks that's against the government, the dissidents. And they sayin' everybody agree this blockade gotta end ASAP. They ain't feelin' this at all. No cap.
Trump been on his bully tip lately, callin' Cuba a 'failed nation' and hintin' that they might be next after the whole Iran situation. These reps was like hold up, and tried to block funds for military action against Cuba without Congress greenlighting it. It's like, chill out man.
Look, I ain't tryin' to get all political or nothin', but at the end of the day, real people is sufferin'. Babies need they incubators, kids need to get they learn on, and folks need they meds. If this embargo is causin' all this pain, then maybe it's time to rethink the whole game plan. We gotta look out for each other man, that's just the real. Ain't no cap in my rap.
