Cuba Got No Gas, Fam: US Blockade Got the Island in the Dark
The feds playin' hardball, but it's the people on the block who payin' the price for dis cold war.

Aight, so peep this: Cuba straight up outta diesel and oil, word to Energy Minister Vicente de la O Levy. Dude said they energy system lookin' real shaky 'cause of the US blockade. Sh*t's critical, for real. They barely got enough gas to keep it movin'. See, this what happen when Uncle Sam wanna flex on a small country.
Reuters reportin' that folks in Havana throwin' up protests 'cause the power cuttin' out. Can't blame 'em, ya know? No lights, no AC, no way to chill. The US offerin' $100 mil in aid, but they want Cuba to change up they whole system first. Like, bruh, ain't nothin' free in this world, is it?
De la O Levy said it plain: they got none of the fuel they need. Just some gas from they own wells. The blockade got parts of Havana goin' dark for 20-22 hours at a time. That's messed up. Folks can't work, can't study, can't even watch TV. It's like livin' in the Stone Age.
Hospitals closin', schools closin', government offices closin'. The whole island grindin' to a halt. Tourism, which is how Cuba makes bread, takin' a major hit. Cuba used to get they oil from Venezuela and Mexico, but them countries scared of the US and them tariffs Trump was threatenin'.
The US say they blockade ramped up 'cause Cuba ain't respectin' human rights. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez callin' the sanctions "illegal and abusive." But at the end of the day, it's the regular folks on the island sufferin' the most.
This ain't new, tho. The US been messin' with Cuba for decades since the revolution. They wanna control everything, and if you don't play they game, they gonna squeeze you till you can't breathe. But this blockade ain't hurtin' the big shots, it's hurtin' the mamas and papas, the kids, the whole community.
It's easy for the US to sit back and say, "Change your system." But they ain't gotta live wit' no power, no food, no nothin'. They ain't seein' what dis doin' to the people on the ground. It's a whole lotta talk, but ain't no action to help folks out.
Cuba need to find a way to stand on they own two feet, but it's hard when the US keep throwin' up roadblocks. This ain't just about politics, it's about real people tryna survive. They need help, not more pressure. Keep it 100. Real talk, no cap.
