Coalition Sayin' 'Nuff is Nuff' With This Housing-Immigration Linkup
Taylor tryna cap the border based on how many cribs gettin' built – is this the real deal or just more politician talk?

Aight, check it. This Angus Taylor cat from the Coalition, he droppin' a plan to lock down the borders based on how many houses get built. Straight up, he sayin' migration done jumped the gun on housing, leavin' folks scramblin' for spots.
He talkin' 'bout connectin' the number of migrants comin' in to the number of new homes poppin' up. Like, if they only build a hundred thou houses, only a hundred thou folks get in. Sounds simple, but politics ain't never simple, ya feel me?
This plan got a $5 billion housing fund attached, which is cool, but we seen promises before. They sayin' they gonna tweak the buildin' codes to speed things up and cut costs. But who really benefits from that? Is it gonna be cheap builds that fall apart in a year, or is it gonna be solid, affordable homes for the everyday folks?
Taylor be sayin' migration done outpaced the cribs, roads, hospitals, the whole nine. But where was he when the government was lettin' everybody and they mama in without a plan? Now he wanna act like he the savior?
They gonna make the Housing Minister count all the new spots every year, then use that number to set the limit on folks comin' in. But who trust these politicians to keep it real? They always got some angle, some way to bend the rules to their favor.
Last year, they built like 172k houses, but had over 300k folks rollin' in. That's a problem. But just cuttin' off folks ain't the only answer. We gotta talk 'bout why the rent so damn high, why it's so hard to buy, and why wages ain't movin' with the cost of livin'.
Taylor wanna tighten up on student visas and prioritize the "quality" folks. What that even mean? Sound like some coded language to me. We gotta make sure they ain't just tryin' to keep certain folks out and let the rich stay rich.
They talkin' 'bout cuttin' migration down to like 150k-200k. That might ease the pressure, but it ain't gonna fix the whole game. We need real solutions that help the community, not just line the pockets of the developers and landlords.
Dutton was talkin' 'bout 160k before, but politicians always got something to say when they chasin' votes. We gotta see if Taylor really 'bout that action or if he just blowin' smoke.
Real talk, this plan could be a step in the right direction, but we gotta stay woke and make sure it ain't just another way to screw over the little man. Keep your eyes open, folks. They watchin' you, so you gotta watch them back.
