Coal Comin' Back? More Mercury in the Air, Nah Mean?
They said coal was dead, but now the air kinda toxic again. Real talk, who gon' suffer most?

Aight, so peep this. The Times droppin' knowledge that coal plants been pumpin' out more mercury lately. Word is, it's messin' with brain development and all that. This ain't no joke, fam.
See, they been tellin' us for years coal was on its way out. But now it's makin' a comeback? What's really goin' on, tho? Feels like they playin' us.
Mercury ain't somethin' to play with. It get in the air, in the water, then it get in the fish we eatin'. And who you think gon' feel that the most? The folks livin' near them plants, the ones already dealin' with all kinds of problems.
They be talkin' 'bout 'regulations' and 'standards' and all that bougie stuff. But if the mercury still goin' up, what them regs really doin'? Sounds like a lotta talk and not enough action.
And look, I ain't no scientist, but I know when somethin' ain't right. They shut down jobs when the regulations and standards go up, which affects the hood. Then they don't listen when we suffering because they bring more coal plants and pollution in. It's all a part of the cycle.
The folks in charge, they don't breathe the same air we breathe. They don't drink the same water. They got the resources to protect themselves. But what about us?
This ain't just about the environment, it's about survival. It's about makin' sure our kids got a chance to grow up healthy and strong. We gotta hold these companies accountable and make sure they doin' right by the community.
We need real solutions, not just lip service. We need investments in clean energy and job training so folks can find work without havin' to sacrifice their health. We need more than a Band-Aid. We need a whole new foundation.
They want to keep us distracted with all this other nonsense. But this is real life. This is our future. We can't let them keep poisoning our communities for the sake of profit.
We gotta organize, mobilize, and demand change. We gotta let them know that we ain't gon' stand for this no more. It’s time to elevate.
Stay woke, y'all. They ain't lookin' out for us. We gotta look out for each other. It's on us to protect our own.
One Love.
