Aight, listen up. So these cats at the Climate and Community Institute (CCI), right? They comin' out here talkin' 'bout some 'working-class climate agenda.' Word? They callin' it 'Stop Greed, Build Green.' Sounds real nice, right? But lemme break it down for y'all real quick. They sayin' climate change is messin' wit' our pockets, makin' everything expensive. Gas, food, rent – you name it. Now they wanna tie fixin' the climate to gettin' that bread back up. But is this the real deal tho?

They sayin' Trump messed things up when he was in office by cuttin' back on environmental stuff. Now prices up and the world burnin'. But ain't they always sayin' somethin' to scare us? These CCI folks been in the game a minute, workin' wit' AOC and Bernie and whatnot. So they know the ropes, but do they know what it's like out here in the streets?

Naomi Klein, she a big shot wit' CCI, sayin' that fixin' the climate won't cost us more. Okay, sis. But where that money comin' from? They had a whole event in NYC, talkin' 'bout this agenda. Meanwhile, people struggle to afford groceries. Then they went to D.C., meetin' wit' lawmakers and all that. Gotta get dat green (pun intended).

Now they got some survey sayin' 70% of folks – even 65% of Republicans – think fixin' the climate will make life cheaper. Man, come on. Who wouldn't want that? But them numbers be lyin' sometimes. You gotta look at who they askin' and how they askin' it. Remember when they sayin' reparations was gon' happen? This sound similar.

Patrick Bigger, this dude from CCI, sayin' we been underinvested in. He tryna put the blame on the government and big corporations. He ain't wrong, but what they gon' do about it? Their plan is to get power back for the people, go up against corporations, and team up with unions and movements. We gotta trust these unions at the end of the day, tho, 'cause all money ain't good money.

Other Democrats and progressives out here speakin' on it, too. But CCI sayin' they tryna go deeper than just a quick fix. I hope so cause real change is the only thing that feed the streets. Climate activists blocked that I-395 highway near the American Petroleum Institute. Now I respect the hustle, but they blocking hard-working folks from gettin' to work too, ya dig? How we gon get that money if we can't work?

I ain't against savin' the planet. We all gotta breathe the same air. But I'm just sayin', don't be playin' us for fools. Show us the plan, show us the money, and show us how this gon' benefit the hood, not just some rich folks lookin' to feel good about themselves. Keep it 100 or keep it movin', ya heard?
