This 'just war' thing, from what I gather, is 'bout makin' sure a war ain't straight-up bogus. Gotta have a good reason, gotta try everything else first, and can't be killin' innocent folks all willy-nilly. Sounds good on paper, but we seen how that go.

Back in the day, some OG's like Augustine and Aquinas cooked up this stuff. They were probably tryna keep the Romans from goin' too crazy. But let's be real, empires do what empires do.

Now, these church folks are lookin' at Iran and sayin' it ain't meetin' the standard. Sayin' it ain't a last resort, or that it's hurtin' too many civilians. I feel 'em on that, 'cause innocent people always catch the stray bullets.
