China Mine Blows Up: 82 Gone. Same Ol' Song.
Another day, another tragedy in the East. But ain't nothin' changed for folks on the ground.

Aight, so check it: they sayin' a gas explosion in some mine called Liushenyu in China took out 82 people. Eighty-muthafuckin-two. And you know what? This ain't even news, fam. This is just Tuesday for them folks.
We talkin' 'bout folks hustlin' to feed they families, riskin' they lives every day just to dig up some coal. While the big bosses in the suits sit back and count they bread, these cats breathin' in dust and prayin' they make it home. Real talk.
They gonna hit us with the same story: 'We gonna investigate,' 'We gonna make sure this don't happen again,' 'We offerin' condolences to the families.' All that performative BS. But ain't nobody really givin' a damn. Not the government, not the corporations. They just worried 'bout keepin' the money flowin'.
They gone offer a lil' bread to the families, some hush money to keep 'em quiet. Ain't no amount of money gonna bring back they peoples, though. That's the real tragedy.
This ain't just a China thing, neither. It's the same game everywhere. Corporations cuttin' corners, puttin' profits over people, and gettin' away with murder. From Flint to the Congo, it's the same story, different location.
And we sittin' here, buyin' all the cheap shit they makin', supportin' the whole system. Gotta get that new phone, gotta cop that new fit. Ain't thinkin' 'bout the folks breakin' they backs and riskin' they lives to make it happen.
So what we gon' do 'bout it? Just keep scrollin' on social media? Keep complainin' 'bout the prices at the pump? We gotta start holdin' these corporations and governments accountable. We gotta demand better for ourselves and for the rest of the world.
Until then, it's just gonna be the same old song and dance. Another disaster, another headline, another 82 souls gone. And ain't nobody really learnin' a damn thing.
