Budget 2026: They Still Playin' Us, Fam?
Coalition sayin' they gonna block Chalmers' tax changes, but will it really help the people?

Aight, so they dropped the Budget 2026, right? Chalmers doin' his thing, talkin' 'bout numbers and all that. But the real question is: how this gonna affect us on the block? 'Cause ain't nobody got time for that fancy talk if it ain't puttin' food on the table.
Shadow Treasurer Tim Wilson comin' out sayin' he gonna 'defeat' them tax changes. He talkin' 'bout capital gains and negative gearin' and all that jazz. Sounds complicated, but basically, it's 'bout who gets to keep they money. And usually, it ain't us.
Capital gains? That's what happens when rich folks sell they stocks or properties for a profit. Negative gearin'? That's when they use they investment losses to pay less taxes. So, basically, they gettin' richer while we hustlin' just to stay afloat.
Politicians always makin' promises, but they rarely deliver. They talkin' 'bout helpin' the economy, but they usually just helpin' they own pockets. We gotta stay woke and see through the BS.
This ain't 'bout left or right, it's 'bout up or down. Are these changes gonna lift us up, or keep us stuck in the mud? Are they gonna create real opportunities for our community, or just benefit the elite?
They wanna distract us with all this political drama, but we gotta focus on what matters: jobs, education, healthcare, and housing. We need real solutions, not just empty promises.
I ain't hatin' on nobody tryin' to make a livin', but the system is rigged. It's designed to keep us down. We gotta fight for our piece of the pie and demand what we deserve.
Don't let these politicians play you for a fool. Do your research, stay informed, and hold them accountable. We gotta unite and use our voices to create real change.
The Guardian gonna keep reportin' on this, but remember to read between the lines. They ain't always tellin' the whole story. Stay vigilant and stay woke, fam.
Martin Farrer and Krishani Dhanji gonna give y'all the updates, but remember, it's up to us to make sure our voices are heard.
