British Museum Trippin', Erasing Palestine? Nah, We See You!
Palestinian ambassador callin' out the British Museum for tryna erase they history, but that ain't new, is it?

Aight, listen up. The Palestinian ambassador, Husam Zomlot, is on some real shit, callin' out the British Museum for tryna erase Palestine from they exhibits. They took the word “Palestine” off some lists and panels, replaced it with “Gaza and the West Bank.” But yo, we know what time it is. This ain't just about words, it's about respect and recognition. This is about tellin' a whole people they ain't worth nothin'.
Zomlot ain't playin'. He went to the Foreign Office, tryin' to get them to step in. He said this is a historical “erasure,” and he ain't wrong. Especially when you got Israel out here doin' all kinda foul shit, allegedly commitin' genocide and tearin' down Palestinian history. They bombed a whole storage depot of ancient artifacts, man. That's some straight-up disrespect.
He even met with the museum director, Nicholas Cullinan, but got nothin' but lip service. They offered him a tour, like that's gonna fix things. Zomlot ain't stupid; he know a token gesture when he see one. He wrote a letter tellin' them straight up that he ain't endorsin' they bull.
The British Museum came back with some weak-ass statement sayin' they ain't removed “Palestine” from everything. But we see through that BS. They changin' the narrative, bit by bit, tryna make it seem like Palestine ain't never been nothin'. That's some low-down dirty stuff right there.
Zomlot tryna get the UK government involved, hopin' they'll put some pressure on the museum. But we all know how these institutions work. They publicly funded, but they do whatever they want. It's all about power and who got the money to control the story. And the government recognize Palestine since 2025. What's the point of recognition if history getting erased?
Zomlot said it best: “Erasing our past is erasing our present.” That's deep, man. That's real. 'Cause when you take away a people's history, you take away they identity, they pride, they everything. That's what they tryna do to Palestinians, and we gotta call it out. This erasure ain't just a political thing, it's personal.
This ain't just about Palestine either. This is about how history is told, who gets to tell it, and who gets left out. We gotta stay woke and fight back against these institutions that try to rewrite our stories. We gotta make sure our voices are heard, loud and clear. They can try to erase us, but we ain't goin' nowhere. We stayin' ten toes down, representin' for our people, always.
