They prolly livin' in spots they ain't supposed to be in the first place, 'cause the system ain't give 'em no other choice. Landlords playin' games, rent too high, wages too low - same old story, different continent.

And the government? Don't even get me started. They gonna send some crumbs, take some photo ops, and then dip. They ain't really invested in the 'hood, never have been. They only show up when they need somethin' from us, or when somethin' bad done already happened.

This ain't just a Brazil thing, either. It's the whole damn world. Rich folks livin' high on the hog, while the rest of us scrapin' for whatever we can get. And when the climate start actin' up, guess who suffers the most? The same people who been sufferin' all along.

So, what we gotta do? We gotta build our own. We gotta create our own systems of support, our own networks, our own way of lookin' out for each other. We can't rely on the government, we can't rely on the corporations. We gotta rely on ourselves.
