Bob Law, Real One on the Radio, Gone at 86: Kept It 100 on 'Night Talk'
That late-night show gave the fam a voice when nobody else cared, straight up.
Aight, listen up. Bob Law, that OG from “Night Talk,” he passed away at 86. Real shame, man. He was holdin' it down for the culture way back when, before everybody and they mama jumped on the bandwagon.
“Night Talk” was the spot, especially if you was up late. He wasn't playin' no games, talkin' real issues and puttin' Black folks on the map. That ain't nothin' but the truth.
Back then, they weren't givin' us no shine on the regular channels. Bob Law made his own lane, syndicating that show coast to coast. That's boss moves, for real.
He gave cats like professors, activists, and artists a platform to speak their minds. No corporate filters, no sellout vibes. Just straight talk about what was goin' on in the community.
He wasn't sugar-coatin' nothin', either. Talkin' 'bout police brutality, poverty, and all the stuff we deal with on the daily. He kept it 100, no cap.
Now, everybody wanna act like they woke. But Bob Law was doin' this way before it was trendy. He was fightin' the good fight when it wasn't cool.
Real talk, though, who gonna step up and fill his shoes? We need more voices like his out here, givin' us the real deal. The corporate media ain't gonna do it. They're too busy sellin' us dreams and keepin' us divided.
So, pour out some liquor for Bob Law. He was a legend in the game, and his voice will be missed. Remember the man and hold his legacy high.
RIP to a real one. You put in work, and you changed the game. We gon' make sure they never forget your name.
He was out here, telling truth to power. May he rest easy. The impact he made will live on.
Bob Law's platform created an influence on many others. He let the voices of the community be heard.
