Artemis II Trippin' on the Moon's Dark Side, But What's in it for the Block?
NASA blastin' off to the moon again, but is this space race gon' benefit the brothas and sistas down here?

Aight, so NASA done sent folks to orbit the far side of the moon, right? Artemis II, they call it. Sounds all fancy, but real talk, what's this got to do with us down here on the block? They spending billions to float around up there, while folks struggling to put food on the table and keep a roof over they heads. Where the priorities at?
They sayin' it's 'bout progress and science and all that jazz. But when has 'progress' ever really trickled down to the hood? They buildin' rockets while our schools still lookin' like they from the Stone Age. Need them dolla bills in the community, not orbitin' the moon.
Now, I ain't hatin' on space exploration. Seeing folks reach for the stars is cool and all. But if they gonna spend all this bread, they need to make sure it benefits everybody, not just the privileged few. We talkin' jobs, education, and opportunities for our youth. Gotta break the cycle, you feel me?
They up there testin' out spaceships and collectin' data. Cool, but what about the data on police brutality, systemic racism, and the school-to-prison pipeline? Need to address them issues too. Can't be explorin' the cosmos while our own communities still sufferin'.
That far side of the moon, huh? Sounds like a metaphor for how they treat us – always keepin' us in the dark. But we seein' through the BS. We demandin' a seat at the table. We demandin' equity and justice. Ain't no room for that 'separate but equal' nonsense no more.
They talkin' 'bout building a lunar base. Okay, but who's gonna build it? The same corporations that exploit workers and pollute our planet? Need to make sure that ain't happenin'. We need a seat at the table to ensure we getting our piece of the pie. Union jobs is key.
This Artemis program, it better not be another way for the rich to get richer while the poor get left behind. We tired of the same old song and dance. Time for real change. Time for real investment in our communities.
They sayin' it's inspirin' the next generation. Alright, let's see it. Let's see scholarships for Black and Brown kids to study science and engineering. Let's see programs that empower our youth to reach for the stars, literally and figuratively.
But fo'real though, if they find aliens up there, they better not treat 'em like they treat us down here. Treat all species with respect, know what I'm sayin'? Peace to all the lifeforms.
Need to be focusing on issues down here before worrying about colonization of the moon. We got climate change, gun violence, and food deserts. Let's get right here on planet Earth before building a moon base.
They need to start putting money back in the communities instead of shooting for the stars. They need to remember who pays the taxes that funds this space expedition. It's time to show some love and address the real problems, the ones right in front of us.
NASA gotta stop cappin'. This whole mission gotta be about more than just flags and footprints. They need to make sure this mission benefit the people, all the people, not just the corporations and the elite. Keep it 100. For real.
