Artemis II to the Moon: Is This Space Race Gon' Benefit Us, Tho?
Astronauts trippin' already? Man, this whole thing better not be another waste of our tax dollars while folks back home struggle.
Aight, so check it. They sendin' folks back to the moon with this Artemis II mission. Astronauts already sayin' they losin' track of time up there. Time is money, fam! But real talk, is this space sh*t gon' benefit us regular folks on the block, or is it just another way for the government to blow bread on some fancy science project that ain't gonna change nothin' for us?
We talkin' 'bout folks strugglin' to pay rent, put food on the table, and get decent healthcare. Meanwhile, they blastin' off to the moon like it's a field trip. I'm just sayin', the priorities seem a lil' outta whack, ya dig?
Back in the day, they told us space exploration was gonna bring us all kinds of amazing technology and create jobs. Where's all that at? We still waitin' on that trickle-down economics to kick in. It's been decades, man. Still ain't seen that change. This ain't trickle down economics this is trickle down bullsh*t.
And let's keep it 100, who really gettin' paid off this? The big corporations, that's who. They buildin' the rockets, the spaceships, all that fancy gear. They eatin' good while we scrappin' for crumbs. It's the same old story, different galaxy.
I ain't hatin' on science or nothin', but I'm sayin' we gotta keep it real. We gotta ask ourselves, who's really benefitin' from all this? Is it the corporations and the government, or is it the people who are workin' hard every day just to make ends meet?
They say space exploration is about inspiring the next generation. But how can we inspire kids when they see all this money goin' to space while their schools are fallin' apart? How can we inspire 'em when they see the rich gettin' richer while the poor stay struggling?
I'm not sayin' we shouldn't explore space, but we gotta make sure that it's not just another way for the rich to get richer and the poor to get left behind. We gotta make sure that the benefits of space exploration are shared by everyone, not just a select few.
This time disorientation thing the astronauts are experiencing? Sounds like that gettin' lost in the sauce. It sounds like their feelins gettin' twisted. Ain't nothin' new, we see that on the daily. We need to make sure folks get taken care of out here, and they get some support, and a strong team, and some guidance. Maybe we can provide that for them.
We gotta keep it real and hold these cats accountable. Ain't nobody got time for no more broken promises. It's time for some real change, and it's time for the benefits of space exploration to reach all of us, not just a select few. For real, for real.
So, to the Artemis II astronauts, good luck up there. But remember, while you flyin' high, folks back home still lookin' for a piece of the pie. Make it count and bring some benefits back here to the streets.
Straight up. No cap.
