Artemis II: Space Race 2.0 - Is This 'Bout Us or Just More Games?
Artemis II might be 'bout space, but is it really gonna help folks on the ground, or just another way for the rich to flex?
Aight, so they talkin' 'bout this Artemis II mission, sendin' folks back to the Moon. Say it's 'bout science and exploration, but we see what's really goin' on: it's a whole new space race with China. But the real question is, how does this benefit us?
We remember the last time they was all hyped 'bout space. Apollo, right? But back then, folks still strugglin' in the streets, dealin' with segregation and poverty. Ain't much changed since then, ya feel me?
Now they tellin' us 'bout lunar resources and strategic advantages. But who gon' benefit from all that? Not the folks workin' two jobs just to keep a roof over they head. This is 'bout corporations and governments gettin' richer, while we still dealin' with the same old problems.
China's in the mix too, tryna get they piece of the pie. It's a power struggle, plain and simple. They both wanna be on top, but they ain't thinkin' 'bout the folks at the bottom.
They say this Artemis program gon' create jobs and stimulate the economy. But we gotta see it to believe it. Too often, these big projects leave us out. Gotta make sure the money trickles down to the community, not just stayin' in the pockets of the elite.
We need investment in our neighborhoods, better schools, access to healthcare. If they gon' spend billions on space, they gotta put some of that money back into the community. It's only right.
I'm sayin', if this Artemis II mission ain't 'bout lifting everybody up, then it's just another distraction. Gotta keep it real, ya know? No cap.
