Albo's Tax Plan: Is It Really Gon' Help the Young Gs or Just Another Trap?
Treasury sayin' 90% of the young bloods gonna be better off, but we gotta see if this ain't just another way for the man to keep us down.

Aight, check it, fam. Albo and them Labor folks is pushin' this new tax plan, right? They got the Treasury sayin' it's gonna be good for 90% of the young cats out here. But lemme tell you somethin', ain't nothin' free in this world, and politicians always got they hands in our pockets one way or another. We gotta break this down and see if this is really gonna lift us up or just another trick bag.
So, what's the deal? They talkin' 'bout a $1,000 tax deduction, a $250 'working Australians tax offset' (WATO). Sounds good on paper, but that ain't gon' pay the rent, ya feel me? And then they messin' with capital gains tax and negative gearing. That's where the real money at, and you know they ain't lookin' out for us when they start playin' with that.
This Treasury chick, Jenny Wilkinson, she out here tellin' everybody at some fancy lunch that this is gonna benefit the young people. She tryna say that if they had this in place back in 2000, we'd all be livin' large by now. That's some straight-up cap. They always tellin' us what could have been, never what is.
The modelin' they did show that the top 10% of earners gonna get hit with higher taxes. So, if you actually out here hustlin' and makin' moves, you gonna get penalized for it. That's the system, always tryin' to keep us down.
Critics sayin' that the young folks with stock market money gonna be payin' more taxes too. Wilkinson tryna play it off like it ain't no big deal, sayin' they still gon' have they profits. But that's our money, fam! We earned that! They can't just come take what's ours.
And they tryna say this ain't gonna mess with productivity? Come on, man. We see what's goin' on. They take from the ones who work hard, and give to who? Themselves, probably. The Reserve Bank even showed that young people ain't even buyin' property no more, cause it's too damn expensive. Albo tryna act like he helpin', but he just makin' it harder for us to get a piece of the pie.
Angus Taylor called Albo an 'arrogant prick'. Straight up. Paul Keating, that old head, is supportin' this mess. You know it's some BS when the same cats who messed things up in the first place are backin' this. Real talk, we gotta stay woke and watch what they doin'. This might sound good, but we gotta see if it really helpin' us or just another way for the man to keep us in the same spot.
