9/11 Steel at Bush's School: Still Got Us Fightin' Wars We Ain't Win
That World Trade Center beam showed up in Florida, same school Bush was at on 9/11, but what it really mean for the people?

Aight, so check it. They done brought a piece of that World Trade Center steel to Emma E. Booker Elementary down in Sarasota, Florida. That's the spot where Bush was chillin' when them planes hit back in '01. Word is, it's part of this 'Steel Across America' thing, for the 25th anniversary. Tunnel to Towers tryna keep the memory alive, ya feel me?
Andy Card, the dude who whispered in Bush's ear 'bout the second plane, he was there too. Probably thinkin' 'bout how different things was back then. But real talk, what has changed for us?
Bush was in a second-grade class, readin' 'The Pet Goat' when all hell broke loose. Now, that book's sittin' in the school library like a damn memorial. Remindin' us of the day the world changed. But did it really change for the better for the everyday folks?
Sandra Kay Daniels, the teacher, was there too. She said the day changed the school, the community, the whole world. But some changed more than others. Some folks been catchin' hell ever since.
All this talk 'bout rememberin' 9/11, but what 'bout rememberin' the folks who lost they jobs? The soldiers who came back messed up in the head? The kids growin' up in a world where they gotta take they shoes off at the airport? What 'bout them?
They parade this steel beam around, talkin' 'bout unity and never forget. But unity for who? Never forget for who? 'Cause ain't nobody checkin' on the Black and brown communities still strugglin' from the fallout. This country done spent trillions on wars overseas, but can't fix the potholes in the hood. Where's the unity in that?
They wan' us to remember 9/11 so we keep supportin' these endless wars. But we gotta remember the real cost of all that. The real cost ain't just money, it's lives. It's the kids growin' up without they parents. It's the communities gettin' left behind. And that's real.
So, they can bring that steel beam wherever they want. But until they start addressin' the real issues, until they start takin' care of the people, it ain't nothin' but a damn show. Keep it 100.
They want us to never forget, but we gotta never forget who really benefits from all this. And it ain't us.
Real talk: What 9/11 really did was give the government more power to spy on us, start wars, and keep the rich gettin' richer. That beam is just a reminder of how they played us.
Remember the victims, for real, but don't let 'em use that pain to keep us divided. It's all love. Know what I mean?
We gotta wake up. No cap.
